Attempting to offer services to a company
requires certain requirements - the ability to communicate
with clients, and provide services as needed by the client.
The ability to offer consulting services requires many aspects
of conduct.
One of these is the ability to handle
all situations with diplomacy and ethically. ISPI's
code of ethics is in place to promote ethical practice
within ISPI. I designed and developed this Code
of Ethics for a small software
company in 2001. This is an example of a code of ethics
that should be considered within each consulting opportunity.
Nicholas Sheard offers a good discussion
of what a good
consultant is. This is a student exercise to allow someone
to understand some of the requirements for a good consultant.
Johnny Swindle offers a political
survivor's guide, offering ideas on political games,
the power behind the games and how to survive the games.
